Bench to Care

The International Congress on Porphyrins and Porphyrias (ICPP) will take place in Milan, Italy September 8-11, 2019. The theme of the ICCP 2019 is from ‘Bench to Care’.

There will be a “Patient Day” on Saturday, organized by patient’s associations, that will afford the opportunity for patients and physicians to interact.

The official Scientific Program starts on Monday with some basic science on fundamentals on Heme, Iron and Heme regulation, acute and chronic Porphyrias - including the novelties in terms of pathophysiology and treatment.

Two abstracts will be presented by the APF staff in addition to several presentations given by members of our Porphyrias Consortium.
